Road Trip! In 2015, we had the pleasure of working with a customer in Lake Havasu City who wanted his brand new (at the time) Jeep Rubicon JK upgraded by us in the comfort of his own garage. After drop shipping all the parts the job would require directly to the job site, Brady and I loaded the tools we would need and headed Southwest for Arizona.

We reinforced the JK with new LoD front and rear bumpers and Rock Slide Engineering step sliders. A Warn winch and Rigid led lights topped off the bumpers. The axles were upgraded with Revolution 5.13 gears and RCV axles shafts, Artec truss, axles sleeves, and ARB diff covers. Synergy stage 3 4″ lift with Fox shocks rounded off the suspension. Artec’s full skid plate system protects the undercarriage. Five matching TR Beadlocks and 37″ Goodyear MT/R tires were assembled on site. Superchips programmer and Magnaflow exhaust completed the build.

By the week’s end, we were out testing the build with the customer in the Arizona desert.  After heading for home, we got a chance see the Grand Canyon on the way.  It was a great experience that gave us the idea to start bringing the work to the customer. Our mobile work was born.
