This ’92 Toyota Pickup came to us fully stock. With ambitions to hit the trail in Moab and beyond, it’s owner, Russ, brought it to us for a complete upgrade. After getting it on the lift, we did a Trail-Gear solid axle swap, added Trail-Gear front and rear leaf springs, axle shafts, Raceline beadlocks with Toyo tires, and installed LC Engineering exhaust.
We also did a rear disk brake conversion and custom front and rear bumpers and rock sliders. To give the truck some power back, we swapped in a completely rebuilt 22RE 4 cylinder motor. No off-road project is complete without some tube work. Designed and fabricated in-house, the truck was outfitted with a roll-cage and tube bed that not only provides safety, but adds style and protects the body as well.
More recently, after moving to Arizona, Russ is getting an LS V8 motor swap. Can’t wait to see new pics of this rig on the trail!
